As a postdoctoral researcher at the Karolinska Institute, specializing in the life sciences and medicine, I am eager to participate in the upcoming Hong Kong Laureate Forum in November 2025. This prestigious event brings together Shaw Prize laureates, top scientists, and young researchers from around the globe, fostering cross-generational, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary connections. The forum's commitment to stimulating scientific innovation aligns perfectly with my academic pursuits and professional aspirations. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange with leading experts in my field. The rich program of keynote speeches, thematic discussions, and panel sessions, complemented by informal networking activities, promises an invaluable experience. As a researcher dedicated to advancing medical science, I believe that participating in this forum will not only broaden my horizons but also enhance my ability to contribute to the global scientific community. I am excited to be part of this vibrant environment and to collaborate with fellow scientists from diverse disciplines.

Develop engineered virus-like particles (eVLPs) for the delivery of CRISPR-Cas machinery to efficiently correct the pathogenic phenotype of genetic eye diseases.
Core Researcher and project manager in the team
• Participate in selecting the disease and target, and help in designing the research procedures.
• Enhance the VLP capacity of bioactive Cas-RNP (ribonucleoprotein) and improve the desired editing efficiency of Cas-RNP VLPs.
• Work on small/medium-scale eVLPs production, collection, and editing efficiency test.
• Design and modify experiments using humanized mouse models to identify in vivo responses.
• Conduct NGS analysis and validation.
