I am writing to express my keen interest in pursuing a postdoctoral position in your laboratory, particularly to study the evolution of the chloroplast genome and the phylogeny of Plant species. I recently completed my PhD at Northwest University, China, where I focused on genome editing projects in plants, particularly monocot and dicot species, and delved deeply into genome phylogeny and adaptive evolution. During my time at the Key Laboratory of Resource Biology and Biotechnology in Western China, Ministry of Education, College of Life Sciences, I gained significant experience in the phylogenetic analysis of Pinus species.

I have a solid academic foundation in plant genomics, phylogeny, and evolutionary biology. As a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, I am particularly drawn to your commitment to fostering diverse communities within the academic and research environment. I believe that a thriving, inclusive workplace not only drives creativity and innovation but also cultivates a culture in which everyone can succeed and feel valued. I would be honored to contribute to this vision as part of your team.
Throughout my academic and research career, I have consistently worked in plant genomics and phylogeny, collaborating with diverse teams of researchers who prioritize and celebrate diversity. Whether through cross-disciplinary projects or engaging with international research groups, I am committed to fostering inclusive spaces where individuals from all backgrounds feel encouraged to contribute their unique perspectives. I firmly believe that diversity enriches the workplace, spurs innovation, and allows for more meaningful, well-rounded problem-solving.
