As a dedicated young scientist passionate about cross-disciplinary collaboration, I believe that this Forum is an unparalleled opportunity to engage with Shaw Laureates who have revolutionised our understanding in disciplines such as Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences. The Forum's structure offers the ideal environment to deepen my knowledge while connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds. I am particularly excited about the prospect of being able to present some of my own research work and receive direct feedback from established experts. As a researcher, my work is focused on solving problems at the intersection of statistics, economics, and finance, in the blockchain, digital assets, and digital finance space. In particular, I am interested in blockchain regulation from the perspective of the financial risks of cryptocurrencies, network modelling of blockchain-based systems, and fraud detection in digital asset networks.
