After reading about and watching the recordings of the first Laureate Forum in 2023, I became deeply fascinated by the discussions held during the event. As student with strong interests in bioinformatics and proteomics, I was especially interested by the plenary sessions on "Cellular Mechanisms, Protein Functions, and Related Human Diseases" and "Kaleidoscope of Protein Folding", as they were incredibly informative and well presented. Thus, I would be honored to participate in this year’s forum, as it would allow me to engage further with the scientific community in Hong Kong and expand my knowledge by connecting with esteemed researchers and fellow students. The prospect of learning from experts in my field and contributing my own questions and thoughts to these discussions is truly inspiring, and I hope to be part of this incredible experience.
