As an almost master’s student graduate from a world-top medical university, Karolinska Institutet, I believe this opportunity to meet 200 other young scientists from around the world is very impressive. As a soon to be PhD student (I will be in November), I am also keen to establish collaborations and introduce myself to other researchers and exchange ideas. My main research interest is female reproduction and early embryo development. This increasing research area will help women and other vulnerable populations in the world, which still remain under-researched. I believe I can bring very interesting conversations to the table and the opportunity to explain my experience as an international student. Moreover, the fact that this opportunity is held in Hong Kong, where they have incredibly high-quality international research and education also motivates me further to attend this event.

Currently writing a review paper about bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) in female reproduction. Some of the sections covered are the biology of BEVs, BEVs in fertility and endometriosis, BEVs in pregnancy, and future perspectives as immune priming of the fetus and the use of BEVs as a therapy for infertility.
My current research of interest involves more specifically the endometrium and implantation.
