As a recent doctoral graduate from HKU, I am deeply committed to advancing my career in research and development within HKU’s dynamic academic ecosystem. My aspiration to participate in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum aligns with my professional goal of fostering collaborations between HKU researchers and local scientific communities, thereby amplifying the societal impact of academic innovation.
During my study at HKU, I actively participated in student associations and local youth community. I voluntarily served in HKU PGSA (postgraduate student association) for many years and was the President in the session 2021-22 to enhance graduate student welfare and interdisciplinary dialogue. I participated Dragon100 event funded by Dragon Foundation in 2021, which emphasized youth empowerment and Great Bay Area cooperation. I also maintained close connection with HK Police Western Police Station to organize anti-scam activities to protect students’ financial security.
I am very passionate in life science and my academic journey has been anchored in molecular and cellular biology. I believe my participation in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum would catalyze novel research ideas and establish enduring partnerships with Hong Kong’s scientific talent pool.
