I am passionate about using math to study the universe, especially physics and astronomy. Starting my studies at HKUST, I aim to explore how mathematical tools—like data modeling and simulations—can help understand cosmic phenomena, such as galaxy evolution or gravitational waves.

The Forum’s astronomy sessions excite me most. Learning from Shaw Laureates like Prof. Bailes (pulsar research) and Prof. Perryman (stellar mapping) would deepen my grasp of cutting-edge astrophysics. I also hope to discuss how math supports discoveries in astronomy, like analyzing vast datasets from telescopes.

While math remains a foundation, my focus is on its application to physics. At the Forum, I want to collaborate with peers, absorb insights from laureates, and explore how interdisciplinary science solves cosmic mysteries.
