I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Economics, an MSc in Business Analytics, a Master of Financial Economics, and currently pursuing an MSc in Actuarial Science, my academic path reflects a deep and evolving commitment to quantitative and analytical excellence. Alongside this, I bring over nine years of professional experience spanning equity research, transaction advisory services, and actuarial product pricing and development.

In both academic and professional settings, I’ve consistently explored how data science and advanced analytics can enhance actuarial and financial decision-making. At the 2023 International Conference in Data Science, I presented my research on forecasting interest rates using Sri Lankan Treasury Bill data. More recently, I’ve contributed to the development of a GPT-based tool tailored for actuarial use, designed to support everything from daily tasks to academic and research workflows.

My combined academic and industry background equips me with a unique, practice-informed perspective that I would bring to the Hong Kong Laureate Forum. I’m eager to engage with laureates and peers to explore how interdisciplinary collaboration and emerging technologies can drive meaningful innovation. The HKLF aligns with my long-term vision to lead the integration of AI and analytics into actuarial science and financial systems.
