Statement of Purpose to Join the Forum (max. 200 words)

As a translational researcher specializing in systems medicine and single-cell multi-omics, I seek to join the Hong Kong Laureate Forum to:
1.Exchange Cutting-Edge Insights
Discuss spatial multi-omics and CRISPR-based therapeutic discovery with global laureates, aligning with my work published in Nature Communications and Cell Reports Medicine.
2.Forge Collaborative Networks
Leverage my dual roles at Karolinska Institutet and King’s College London to initiate cross-border projects, particularly in pan-cancer immunotherapy (e.g., my NSFC-funded project on T-cell mechanisms).
3.Translate Innovations to Clinics
Share my experience developing the HTCA single-cell database and organoid platforms to address Asia-Pacific-specific cancer challenges.
This forum’s interdisciplinary focus will accelerate my goal of bridging computational biology with precision oncology.

Abstract of Research / Brief Description of Your Current Research Interest (max. 200 words)

My research focuses on multi-omics-driven analysis of the tumor microenvironment and the development of precision cancer therapies, with a particular emphasis on colorectal cancer. I integrate single-cell multi-omics, artificial intelligence, and advanced biomedical engineering to uncover immune response mechanisms, optimize immunotherapy strategies, and enhance post-operative recovery. My work includes building a pan-cancer immune atlas, developing organoid-based drug screening platforms, and constructing pan-therapy and pan-metastasis maps to guide personalized treatment. Additionally, I explore the application of nanotechnology, smart hydrogels, and AI-assisted rehabilitation to improve patient outcomes. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to advance precision oncology, optimize cancer treatment strategies, and contribute to the development of innovative clinical solutions.
