I am Asmaa Ali Saleh, I graduated from faculty of fish resources science( marine safety control) 2015.
I am enrolled in a master degree program in faculty of science oceanography department (marine chemistry).
I am applying for Hong Kong Laureate forum because it is a great opportunity to enhance my knowledge and experience.It is a chance to participate in seminars, discussion groups and workshops. It is also a chance to present my research results of the master thesis in the forum and unique opportunity to connect with experts,exchange knowledge in the field of scientific research.
Empowering women in scientific research is an excellent idea since few opportunities are available for females and we face many challenges.
so, it a pleasure for me to attend this forum and I hope this opportunity will add a value for me as a young researcher.

I have a research experience in oceanography,environmental science, marine chemistry,microbiology and pollution prevention and treatment.
My master thesis focus on remediation and restoration of water bodies (Biodegradation of PAHs)
I compared between 3 treatment methods to degrade different concentration of benzo(a)pyrene and chrysene and the results of the treatment were promising.
