As a PhD candidate at the University of Hong Kong specializing in diffusion models for robotic planning and manipulation, I am eager to participate in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum 2025. My research focuses on developing generalizable and adaptive planning algorithms using diffusion models, culminating in several publications at top-tier conferences including ICML and CVPR.
The interdisciplinary nature of my work—bridging machine learning, computer vision, and robotics—aligns perfectly with the Forum's cross-disciplinary approach. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to engage with Shaw Laureates in Mathematical Sciences, whose foundational work has enabled many recent advances in artificial intelligence.
My goal is to establish meaningful connections with both laureates and fellow young scientists that could lead to future collaborations. I also hope to gain insights into how mathematical principles can further advance embodied AI systems, particularly in vision-language-action models.
As someone committed to advancing the field of robotics and AI, I believe the Forum would provide invaluable perspectives on how my research can contribute to solving real-world challenges through cross-disciplinary approaches.
