Statement of Purpose to Join the Forum (max. 200 words)

I am extremely excited to apply for the opportunity to join the Laureate Forum, which I see as an ideal space for meaningful exchange across disciplines and cultures. Engaging with researchers from different backgrounds is not only intellectually enriching, but also essential for tackling the complex challenges of modern science. It is especially relevant for the field of my studies, cosmology, which does not shy away from asking questions about the very origin, past and future of our Universe.
This forum would be my first experience attending a scientific social event of such prestige. I feel genuinely privileged to have the chance to connect with leading experts in their fields, people whose work I deeply admire and aspire to learn from. I look forward to the opportunity to participate in open dialogue, gain new insights, and grow as a researcher through these interactions.
Visiting Hong Kong, a vibrant city, adds a special dimension to this experience. I look forward to explore its unique blend of tradition and innovation, and to be inspired by the energy of both the city and the scientific community it will host.

Abstract of Research / Brief Description of Your Current Research Interest (max. 200 words)

My current research is focused on two major cosmological surveys: Euclid and Rubin. Both surveys will soon provide us with the data of unprecedented precision. My goal is to develop the tools for analysing these incredible new data. This includes accurate modelling of all observable scales in standard and exotic cosmologies, as well as novel inference techniques to efficiently and robustly compare theoretical predictions with observations. In the Euclid survey, I contribute to a key project that will constraint dark energy and modified gravity models using the first year data release. While for the Rubin observatory, I am working on a new fast forecasting pipeline and implementing advanced machine-learning techniques into an established data analysis pipeline. Through close collaboration with a broad scientific community, we are preparing to uncover deeper insights into the Universe, particularly its mysterious "dark sector."
