As a third-year Bachelor of Science student majoring in Human Structure and Function at the University of Melbourne, I am passionate about the intersection of biology, technology and medicine. My academic focus o human biology, combined with my experience as a biology tutor, has deepened my appreciation for scientific inquiry and the importance of sharing knowledge.
I actively seek opportunities to apply science beyond the classroom- most recently through volunteering at the Good Friday Appeal's Teddy Bear Hospital, where I engage with children to promote health education in a fun and meaningful way. These experiences have strengthened my desire to contribute to healthcare innovation and community wellbeing.
My long-term goal is to pursue postgraduate studies in dentistry and specialise in cosmetic dentistry. I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies can enhance personalised dental care and patient outcomes. Participating in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum would allow me to connect with global scientific leaders, broaden my research perspective, explore how science can be used to improve lives across disciplines and borders.
The HKLF represents an invaluable opportunity to learn, grow and be inspired by groundbreaking ideas in science and medicine.
