Statement of Purpose to Join the Forum (max. 200 words)

I am a 5th year Physics Student at the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) currently working on my final undergraduate project in Atmospheric Physics. While this is my main area of interest, which I find engaging due to its scientific relevance and its usefulness in the daily life of society, I remain open to exploring other research fields as I continue my studies.

I am eager to participate in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum as I see it as a unique and fruitful opportunity to learn from leading scientists and engage with fellow young students and researchers worldwide. I value the interdisciplinary, international and intercultural nature of this event, which I believe is essential for gaining new perspectives and most certainly will contribute both to my personal and professional development.

Attending the Forum would be an inspiring and long-awaited opportunity in my development as a young scientist and a chance to strengthen my commitment to research.

As stated in my curriculum vitae and by Dr. Bürgesser, in 2024 I received a scholarship/grant to carry out a year-long research project.
Unfortunately, due to the country's economic situation at the time of announcing the selected candidates, the National Interuniversity Council announced the indefinite postponement of the scholarship.
Nevertheless, I am currently carrying out my research project, since it also corresponds to the final subject of my Bachelors Degree.
Due to this, I do not have any certificate, only the PDF announcing the selected candidates.
