I am honored to apply for participation in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum, an esteemed international event uniting world-leading scholars, researchers, and young scientists. As a young researcher specializing in computational mathematics, I view this forum as a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and network with peers and leaders in the field. Apart from the academic sessions, the forum also provides many cultural visits. Engaging in cultural visits will not only enrich my experience at the forum but also deepen my appreciation for the interplay between science and society. Understanding different cultural contexts is essential for a well-rounded approach to research, as it fosters creative problem-solving and collaborative innovations. Thank you for considering my application.

My current research focuses on developing multiscale methods and utilizing deep learning techniques to solve partial differential equations that arise from complex material science problems. By creating order reduced models, I aim to enhance computational efficiency and speed, allowing for faster and more accurate analyses of material behaviors. This research addresses significant challenges in the field, where traditional methods often struggle with the complexity and scale of realistic scenarios.
