The Hong Kong Laureate Forum represents a premier academic exchange event wherein distinguished individuals gather to share their notable contributions to the field of science. As a second-year undergraduate student in the discipline of medicine, I find myself at a critical point, preparing to embark upon my Master of Research degree at the University of Hong Kong. I am confident that communicating with a cohort of aspiring, accomplished individuals, each having attained significant milestones in their respective fields, will be profoundly beneficial in inspiring my own research pursuits. Additionally, the Hong Kong Laureate Forum facilitates transdisciplinary dialogue, fostering collaboration and communication across various branches of science. Consequently, this event presents a valuable opportunity for me to broaden my perspectives and cultivate new ideas at the beginning of my research journey. Furthermore, I believe that the Hong Kong Laureate Forum should not only serve as an exclusive venue for the top minds in science but also offer a nurturing and educational environment wherein an individual new to the field, such as myself, can learn and evolve.
