My experience as a Forum Ambassador for Professor Kazutoshi Mori at the 2023 HKLF was deeply inspiring. Engaging with leading scientists in Life Sciences and fellow young researchers fueled my passion for scientific inquiry and exposed me to diverse experimental techniques, research methodologies, and innovative approaches to hypothesis testing. These insights have since guided my experimental planning and broadened my scientific perspective.
As a pharmacy student with a strong interest in drug R&D—particularly in oncology—I am eager to connect with like-minded peers, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. I also hope to learn from scientists through their seminar sharings, drawing on their expertise in basic science to deepen my understanding of disease pathophysiology. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to translational research, developing innovative therapies to improve and save lives.
Participating in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum would be an invaluable opportunity to grow as a translational researcher and work toward this vision.

My research interest focuses on advancing our understanding of cancer pathophysiology, particularly the role of protein misfolding in tumorigenesis. Inspired by Prof. Kazutoshi Mori’s work on protein folding, I aim to explore the mechanisms and implications of misfolded proteins in cancer development. Building on these insights, my goal is to identify and develop small-molecule agents that target these molecular aberrations, bridging fundamental discoveries into potential therapeutic strategies
