I have been engaged in interdisciplinary research for several years, with a focus that spans health communication, social sciences in health, and more recently, digital and AI-driven psychosocial studies related to mental health. I am keen to explore opportunities to integrate my research with other disciplines to foster innovative and impactful work that contributes to the well-being and mental health of individuals in need, both in Hong Kong and beyond. I also welcome opportunities to collaborate and connect with others who share similar goals and ambitions.

My research focuses on improving mental health and healthcare communication through interdisciplinary approaches, combining public health, communication studies, and digital innovation. Meanwhile, I study how patient and public involvement and engagement can enhance the design, delivery, and impact of healthcare services.
A core area of my work involves developing and evaluating digital psychosocial interventions aimed at supporting mental well-being. I explore how emerging technologies including AI-powered tools, social media platforms, and online medical consultations can be effectively used to promote mental health and strengthen doctor-patient communication.
I also investigate health communication strategies in multicultural and digitally mediated contexts, with a focus on intercultural communication and health promotion. My research pays particular attention to how communication practices affect access to care, patient empowerment, and health outcomes especially among vulnerable or underserved populations.
Currently, I am leading projects that integrate digital tools into mental health support systems, with an emphasis on ethical design, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practice. My goal is to generate impactful research that informs policy, improves healthcare delivery, and promotes mental well-being in Hong Kong and beyond.
