Abstract of Research / Brief Description of Your Current Research Interest (max. 200 words)

After studying asymmetric catalysis at university, I gained a deep understanding of the significance of asymmetric phosphine chemistry, as well as the gap between foundational research and practical application. To promote their application, we must develop highly efficient and straightforward approaches for their generation. With the support of the HK Jockey Club Charities, I aim to advance my research and translate these cutting-edge studies in asymmetric phosphine chemistry into practical applications. Our goal is to discover novel chiral organophosphorus compounds to further promote the development of chiral phosphine chemistry. This includes the innovation of chiral phosphorus ligands and catalysts, as well as the discovery of biologically active chiral P-structures.
