I am highly enthusiastic about the opportunity to engage in the Hong Kong Laureate Forum, which prioritizes advancing biomedical research and life science. I specialize in drug discovery as a researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), specifically at the Research Center for Vaccine and Drug, Organization of Health. Furthermore, I am a molecular biologist specializing in drug discovery and a researcher and consultant at the Bioinformatics Research Center, Inbio, Indonesia. Engaging with distinguished scientists like Eva Nogales, Kazutoshi Mori, and Peter Walter, whose fields of expertise closely align with my research, will be invaluable to my professional growth.
Their work on molecular mechanisms, protein folding, and cellular stress response is directly pertinent to the obstacles I face in drug discovery. This forum provides a distinctive opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, investigate cutting-edge techniques, and collaborate with leading experts and researchers. Attending will broaden my scientific perspective and expedite the implementation of new methodologies in my ongoing research. This partnership is essential for the advancement of drug discovery and the enhancement of global health outcomes.

My current research focuses on drug discovery for natural and synthetic compounds to treat cancer and neurological diseases. The research is centered on molecular-level analysis of drug-target interactions, particularly in transcriptomics. A key aspect of my work is understanding how specific drugs influence protein function, including protein-drug interactions and the broader impact on protein-protein interactions. We aim to uncover novel therapeutic mechanisms and biomarkers for more effective treatments by examining these interactions.
Additionally, my work employs advanced techniques in molecular biology, including in vitro, in vivo, and in silico methodologies, to investigate the impact of drug candidates on cellular and molecular processes. In vitro studies allow for precise control and analysis of drug effects at the cellular level, while in vivo models provide insights into the therapeutic potential in living organisms. In silico approaches simulate molecular interactions, further enhancing our understanding of drug mechanisms and optimizing drug design.
This comprehensive approach integrates cutting-edge tools and methodologies to identify promising drug candidates, develop a deeper understanding of their mechanisms of action, and provide insights into how molecular mechanisms underpin disease pathogenesis. The ultimate goal is to enhance drug development strategies and lead to
